2 miles for me this morning. Sun isn’t coming up until around 6:30, so it’s just the street lights guiding me.

7 miles tonight in the reverse direction I normally run. Always amazed to recognize new things just by reversing direction.
I've been running the same 10k loop from my house at least once a week for years. In all that time I think I ran it in the same direction every single time until once this past spring when I decided to make a conscious effort to go out my door and turn right onto the loop instead of turning left. It was like a whole new world! lolThis is so true - there's a stretch of road nearby that I almost always used to run back home along, and there was something I used to hate about it, and then I started doing a route that went the other way and it was a revelation: suddenly it was as if it was a completely new landscape.
I hear ya. I make sure to run a bit extra to round up to whole miles if I am within about 0.10 - 0.15 miles, beyond that I don't bother.
I'm a morning runner and I'm always amazed at the number of people who run or bike in the dark wearing all black clothes with no lights or reflectors, especially on roads with a fair amount of traffic. I think that kind of behavior is even more dangerous in the evening when there's more traffic and statistically more vehicle/pedestrian and vehicle/cyclist accidents.7 miles last night in the dark. I am surprised there have been more people out lately and without any reflective gear or lights. This includes runners, walkers, and families with little kids. It's nuts.
