Just wondering how many miles everyone here walks in their shoes everyday, and how much stress people put their shoes through on a daily basis.
Using Google Maps new walking function, I'm walking about 1.8 miles to and from work everyday (not including walking around at the office). I usually wear beater shoes to work, since my route in lower Manhattan is a tourist obstacle course (down Church & Broadway past the WTC & Century 21, Wall Street). approx 36 mins of total walking time on bad uneven nyc sidewalks.
