I can drink 10-12 tallboys before giving up the ghost if I'm in fighting shape. I weigh like 125 lbs. I think our beer is only 4.5% or something though.

For some reason Newcastle and Sierra Nevada PA get me all kinds of fucked up, I can drink maybe a six but I'd be blind and come out and swinging.

The only time I get into this business is in London - about 9 pints. Then I'm really sloshed.

I'm part Native, and I seem to have inherited the lower-than-average alcohol tolerance, at least of beer. When I was in my prime, I could put away 16 or so before I was truly drunk, but if I pace myself, I could do 40+ a day. (My friends and I used to do camping trips, and try for the 100 beer weekend. I could never get it, though others broke it by a fair bit).

Nowadays, I feel it after 6, and am drunk by 12. This is all 6% beer, if I'm in the States,(which isn't uncommon) add 3-5 to each number.

I've done an entire 30 pack on a float trip before. It was maybe a 5 hour float. Needless to say, I really didn't need to be around water.
