How is my Burberry trench fit?

I have ZERO experience with trench coats and I don't see myself wearing one but I ran into this one for a price I could not pass. Please tell me if this looks atrocious, the only thing I can tell is that the sleeves seem the right length. Ultimately should I keep it, tailor it, sell it?

Also, it's in very decent condition if I were to sell it what would be a good estimate which I should aim for? Thanks.

I think it looks wayyyy too big throughout the body. However, I am no expert.

I think the fit may be fine, especially if you plan to wear it over a jacket. If anything, the sleeves may be a tad short in order for the coat to keep you dry during a down pour. Overall, IMO, it fits fine. Nice coat, by the way.

Well the angle is pretty bad here and it exaggerates the body. It of course can still be too big.

Smaller pictures might help people assess the fit...

Kinda big.

I like the last shot. 'Check it out it's BURBERRY! See the check? SEE IT!?!?'

Not bad - and yes the last shot is a bit chavish.

Be wise, resize.
Kinda big.
I agree, I like how the top fits, but the bottom does look too big.

I just inspected it and is this how trench coats are made or was it resized to be bigger?

I take it almost any tailor can resize it? Looks like something really basic.

Other than the length (below knee), which is not what is trendy right now (at most knee length if not shorter), the jacket fits you pretty well.

A true trench is supposed to be worn over another jacket.
