How I dress attracts golddiggers, how do I change that?

Have we yet to recognize the possibility that all women are golddiggers?

That's a situation for an image consultant, seriously. To tell how much appearance contributes to the end result requires visuals, of course. An educated guess is that the shoes are typical Style Forum and come across as "ostentatious" to many people. The implication is that women who like money focus on shoes.

I dress in very expensive clothes most of the time and chicks never, ever hit on me. Maybe it helps to be old and ugly.

I think you've just found your problem. You are a person with a full-time job who's still trying to date people in college. Don't do this. It's a horrible idea for many reasons and this is one of them.

He was saying that IT guys make more money than people assume and you say that your friend who is a SALESMAN for an IT security company, makes a lot. LOL

Are you one of them!?!?

Lol I just briefly dated an IT guy here who works for the government, and he was the cheapest guy in the world. I'm not sure I've ever looked at the way a guy was dressed and thought "Mmm...money", but I'm sure it's possible.

Son, the average American earns about $32,000 a year. For a large majority of the American population at any age, $100,000 annually is a lot of money. And it is.

Well, more specifically, a liquor-store-owner-digger?

You need a ticket pocket on your suit for when you go on a boat cruise.
