Hi, all.
I read the below on Permanent Style regarding shirt collars (and collar heights):
The height at the front, however, depends far more on how high the collar sits on the body of the shirt, than it does on the height of the collar itself.
I am in complete agreement about this, but how do tailors know "how high" to place the collar? In my case, if you look at me on profile view, my collar very obviously slopes down from back to front. I've asked them to increase the collar height a bit, but now I am thinking that it hasn't solved the underlying problem. Should I just tell my tailor to place the collar higher...or at least place it higher at the front of the shirt?
