I recently picked up a three piece suit at a second hand store. ($20, and it's pin strips are the exact color of the tie I was wearing at the moment) I really like the vest that came with it, and it's a light brown that looks good with jeans, but I'm afraid it might be a little too high.
I know the sayings on sleeve and lower hem length for jackets (wrist meets thumb & knuckles respectively), but are there "rules of thumbs" on vests? Should the vest cover the belt or can there be a space where the shirt shows between the top of the pants and vest bottom?
Thanks!
