How durable are these Prada high-tops for street wear?

Hi All,

My shoe rotation is mostly Alden and custom bench pieces (double monks, dress shoes). However, I have very few sneakers or street shoes. Last year I broke my back and fortunately after months of physical therapy I am walking again (literally). I plan on traveling a lot over the next few years because I realize more than ever how important it is to experience life. I will be in New York frequently and also Europe, thus lots of walking on streets and cobblestone and stairs, etc. Unfortunately, my current shoes and even my Chukka boots are not the most street-friendly after a long day on my feet. I've tried Ecco/Clarks/NewBalance/etc, the usual suspects and there are some great shoes out there, but the style factor is often lacking.

Yesterday I purchased the most comfortable sneaker high-tops I've ever had on my feet. They are the new Prada high-tops (purchased from the Prada store). They zip up and form fit the ankle and the velco strap provides great adjustable support. They are like butter on my feet and they actually look dressy with long pants covering the velcro (thankfully no obvious logo on the sides). I have no buyer's remorse per se. Yes, they were expensive, but I'm o.k. with the price if they will be durable over the long haul for 2-3 years.

I would greatly appreciate advice on the quality of these sneakers. Will the soles hold up? Is the leather good quality? Will they stretch? I am not familiar with Prada and I would greatly appreciate any honest opinions on these shoes.
