Undercut 10-15 BS items, even if you are at a loss just to get the feedback rolling in. Also make auctions with absurdly high prices and have your friends and family "win" the auctions, just to give you good feedback.

Make sure you have good photos, good key words. Since you have 0 feedback, when you write the description, make it obvious you're a real person and not a computer/foreign scammer, etc.

Really depends on what you're selling....

If you want to sell Gucci shoes or a LV purse... good luck with no feedback. For other things it will matter less.

If you don't plan on selling often and only with higher ticket items. You're better off having someone else sell it for you, as even after paying commission you'll probably make more.

Personally, I don't "auction" anything, I have fixed price buy-it-now auctions listed until the end (so it will keep re listing automatically for 30 days at a time if the item hasn't sold) Many people don't want to wait around to bid on items and fixed price auctions are becoming the most prevalent sales on the site.

Do you have any idea how much that feedback will cost you? eBay fees aren't cheap... even having friends win a few auctions for $200-300 will put a dent in your wallet.

Wow just give us a link already.

Here are some tips I can give you without seeing your listing.

1. Be personable in your description.
2. Make sure your title is as correct as possible.
3. Detailed as possible
If you are selling pants, make sure you use the drop down menu and mark them as size 32 or whatever they are, you will still show up in general search results for pants, but also if a size 32 person selectively filters his search.
4. Explain why you are selling said item.
5. FREE SHIPPING! Such a scam:
people will bid like crazy on free shipping items, I don't know why, it's like a tick people have. Therefore, more people bid and you will still end up making as much money if you charged for shipping in your auction, maybe more.
6. 5 day auction at maximum, if you do a 10 day auction, more items get listed, more items sell, as your item is still 8 or 9 days away from selling and making it to the front page of search results.

My $.02
(50 feedbacks, 100% positive)

I have free shipping included. If this doesnt sell in the 10 days, do I have to pay more money to relsit it?

It has to be his virginity. That's nothing to be bashful about.
I'm just kidding.

I don't have much experience selling, but as long as you show up under the ebay link search (i.e. Men's Clothing- Jeans- Brand) there shouldn't be a problem with finding it.
