By myself in a 2 Bedroom, 908sq ft apartment in central London (top of Regents Park).
About 10 min walk to Baker Street.
Underground station less than a min walk.
Modern building, with classic interior decor.
Underground parking, consierge service, maid & butler service.

Curently driving a Range Rover Sport, which I rarley drive, unless I am visiting relatives in the country, or hungover, so the packed tube is too much to bear.
Wow I envy you

My dream is to someday get married and buy a place on Belgrave Square if all goes well, hopefully driving a DB9 (unlikely) or at least a Jaguar.

Well, and getting better.

I recently moved to LA and started a new job. I live in a 830 sq. ft. new luxury studio next to Union Station in downtown. I'm in the process of pimping this place with better furniture -- leather sofa, stools for the breakfast bar, queen size bed, window coverings, etc. It has all kinds of amenities: washer/dryer in unit, exercise room, rooftop pool (can't wait to take a date up there), billiards room, theater.

I exercise daily, and cook whenever I can. I eat well: grass-fed meats, organic produce, raw milk, eggs. Due to my job, I also eat out several times a week, which is great, because I love a variety of foods. One of the things I love about LA is the availability of various ethnic foods; it's not uncommon for me to have Greek, Korean, Mexican, Japanese and Chinese in the span of a week.

This weekend I rode a bike at the beach, walked around Santa Monica, enjoyed the cool breeze and warm sun, and the sights and sounds of other people enjoying it, too, while I knew my east coast friends were indoors trying not to freeze.

My social life needs further development, but I can't complain about the other aspects of my life. I was reflecting on this the other day: how blessed I am to be able to enjoy all this abundance, when life is so hard for many in this world. I haven't usually thought about things this way in the past. Focusing on the positives instead of dwelling on the negatives (what I don't have, who is keeping me from getting it, etc) feels good. What a timely topic for me personally. I realize this is a somewhat open-ended topic, but that's what I am thinking.

Welcome to L.A! Dowtown is definitely booming and happening right now. I've been living here for a long time and it's always a nice place to come home to.

Boston has intelligentia and New York has culture. In L.A., you get both culture and intelligentia.

My wife and I just bought a ~680sqft condo in an "old school DC" condo building. The average age of the place must be 60. Very quiet. [For the DC crowd: it's in Wesley Heights.]

We have no maid (or house boy). We have no metro stop right nearby. But we do have a garage parking space and we know exactly what that's worth.

We haven't moved in yet and are in the process of remodeling. Not fun.
