Do you dry clean socks if they're wool/cashmere? Just curious if people do. I just think it would be weird to as they are socks. (I handwash)

Steam them like suits; hang on suit hangers. No need to wash; my feet smell like roses.

They are handwashed and dried flat.

Bespoke sock trees when they are not in use really helps them retain their shape.

I have specially trained silk worms that live in my socks and repair any damage on a daily basis. They also eat any dirt or foul smell that accumulates so they look and smell new every day.

On a serious note, I put my cotton ones in the dryer and place wool flat to dry.

Explains why mine don't last long.

I pay way to much attention to my suits already to waste more time attending to socks. Mine just in the the washer and dryer. They may last less long, but most of them I can get for well under $10 per pair on sale. Just not worth the added time for me.

Same here. They're just socks. Usually get them from Banana for $10 and they last long enough.
