How do you buy Orvis products on the cheap?

Hello,

There's a few things at Orvis that I've considered buying, possibly because they pepper me with a print catalog every three weeks.

My question to you, dear hive mind, is: are there any tricks for making their prices a little less dear?

They have a lot of great stuff, but they seem to know it, given the prices. The sales seem to never hit the things I'm interested in and there's a dearth of gift cards for sale out there from forum users (at least it seems to me).

I can wait all year, just curious. JAB they ain't.

Thanks.

If you live in the DC region, they have had a warehouse sale once or twice a year at Dulles. When you,re in a store, ask to be put on the list. I,m not a huge Orvis fan but I,ve gotten some decent kit over the years. Braised

Thanks,
I don't like everything they carry, but they are a decent source for vests and the occasional random scarf, belt, or shirt.
I don't live in DC, but I know people there, so I will keep that in mind.
