How do the clothing companies like Banana Republic make thier Dress shirts?

Could someone walk me thru the basics of how the shirts are made?

Also, do machines or experienced people make better quality shirts?
Whats the processing time for a shirt made by a human/machine?
Does anyone own a small clothing business or know how they work?

Shirtmaven could tell you about how shirts are made. There's a link to a complete article on it somewhere here, but I can't remember where. Get Smart just started his own clothing line, called Thick as Thieves. Additionally, FIHTies has his own clothing line, called well... Four in Hand Ties. Both of them could probably answer questions you have regarding their business. Look them up with the search function.
