How do these bucks look with these pants

Hey guys,
i'm used to wearing dark leather shoes with khakis. However, i've been wanting some suede bucks, and am wondering what your thoughts are on how they look. Does the color of the shoes look too similar to the color of my pants? Good/bad?

I think they look just fine, but definitely more casual.

Also, did you change which foot the buck is on between pictures?

You'll pass but you can make it more interesting with a pant color that contrasts more.
My suggestion is for you to also explore the world of corduroy & moleskin in pants.
Color suggestions for pants> brown, hunter green, dark rust, hull red, even dark grey with a hint of blue in it.

I think they look good, the sole provides enough contrast to make the shoe stand off against the trousers.

So do I, I haven't had a pair of bucks for years.

Perhaps the first pic was taken off of the mirror?

+1

I think they look fine. The light settings/camera might be throwing it off but there appears to be enough contrast. Try chocolate brown khakies or blue jeans...

Hey guys,
thanks for the input. Yeah, i think the first came off the mirror.

In any case, I agree about the pants. I've started to wear more cordouroy, so I think these would look best with other options, but can work with khaki as well.
Thanks guys,
I'm gonna pick them up

Looks good to me. I agree, it's certainly more casual than the wingtip, but there's nothing wrong with that.

Would you mind sharing the brand/model deets of both shoes?

The shoes look good. I purchased a pair of suede bucks also and find I wear them all year round. They are a good choice to have in a shoe collection.

I'd go with white bucks instead; but that's just me.

I like your combo. But, then again I have always felt that khakis and bucks were classic.

Pocketsquareguy,

Who makes those bucks. They look perfect for casual wear.
