How do J.Crew Slim fit shirts fit?

I've seen a couple online that I really like but I'm afraid to pull the trigger because of the fit. I'm 6'2 and between 190 and 195lbs (depending on the time of the day).

I wear M for most things (t-shirts, polos, sweaters, denim jackets, some leather jackets) but for example, I wear L for Zara slim fit shirts (absolute perfect fit for my frame). I'm usually a Size 40L for suit jackets.

How slim are J.Crew shirts in comparison to Zara shirts? Should I also go with L or M? Thank you for your help.

Take some quick measurements from your Zara shirt, chest, waist, body length. Email customer service for the the same specs for the sizes you want to compare. Then you'll get a good idea. They are pretty good. Calling them is even faster.

Thanks! I'll do just that.
