I just wondered if anyone had any suggestions on how to get rid of the creases that form on the seams of dry jeans from where they have been folded. The jeans I have are sanfornized so I don't really want to soak them as I will lose indigo. I did think about using an iron on a low heat and with the steam off to just flatten them out... but I'm not too sure!

Any suggestions from people who have had this problem would be great.

    ctazza.

    wear them.

after you wear them, take them off and throw them on the floor.

next time you need something on the lower half of your body, pick them up off of the floor and put them on.

    wear them.

    repeat untill creases are gone.

i like to soak my jeans to get the creases from shipping out, even if they are sanforized

    no agitation-----no indigo loss

As far as I know ironing is fine. But if you just wear them, they'll go away soon enough.

Funny, I was just thinking the same thing about the creases. I just got a pair of HKM's in the mail and they are flat and rather stiff. I hate the side creases, so I guess when I get home tonight I'll throw em on and start breaking em in.

    Cheers for the help guys,

I had a go at using the iron on the creases and that seems to have done a pretty good job.

edman- be sure to empty the water out of the iron and let the steam drain out before using it on your new jeans! I'm pretty sure that tie-die selvage marks are not cool...

    thanks again
