You know not of what you speak. High armholes are not a "trend" as you imply. Comfortable proper fitting jackets always have high armoholes to allow maximum movement of the wearer's arms.

However why on earth did you demand a larger armhole? That suggests that you are little better than a troll here as any research would tell you that the exact opposite is correct.
