Handshake. We don't have a very emotive family. My father greets his sister the same way, with a handshake and a smile.

Definitely a hug, but this is past tense. Greeting and leaving. Since we lived 3000 miles apart they were inextricably linked.

Usedto be handshake when we lived in different states. Now that we see each other often, it is usually nothing.

Me: "Daddy-O!" Him: "Boolie-B!" usually followed by the handshake from the Fahrenheit 451 movie (a mid forearm grab followed by a twist) and a hug.
