Putting this here because some people don't read the other forums...

So, how did you find (come upon, arrive at) the forum? The "close membership?" thread got me thinking about this. My answer should be pretty obvious, but I'd like to hear how people got here, where they heard about it or found it on a search, or whatever. Old schoolers from the GQF can say so if they want, but I'm especially interested in recent joiners.

The forum's not actively advertised anywhere, and that has been discussed, but for the moment I'd like to see where the traffic comes from. Let's hear it.

I looked up "style forum" on Google. Yeah, that just about covers it.

Andy's forum. Somehow there are more references to Andy's when you do Google search.

After getting fed up with the juveniles on the GQ forum, the clueless on the MH forum, and the slowness of the AA forum, I was very happy to find this site.

i think i used a google search too, but i can't remember the exact terms i used. probably 'men's style forum' or something. i found this and andy's forum (and the 'modernman' one and GQ too) at virtually the same time.

***edit: i'm going to start keeping count of the number of times my post starts a new page. that's at least 2 so far today. spooky.

I found Steve B's site through a google search, then I linked to here. I think the first post I read was The Foxx recommending that the members buy a couple of Anderson & Sheppard tuxedo's I had listed, which got my attention..

I did a google search for "shirts with narrow wrist circumfrence." It linked me to AskAndy and a post about Jantzen, which contained hyperlinks to some Jantzen discussion that occurred on this forum. I posted on Andy a few times, but soon found that the discussion and cast of characters here was much much better.

When l did a google search for Loake shoes, Andy's forum came up. After spending 3 months at A.A forum, l joined styleforum.

(Many google searches turn up Andy's forum [not style forum])
