And yes, about 3.5".
Cheers,

What is your usual size? From what I understand, Shia is not a particularly big guy, and the lapel widths are pretty regular width on him. On a "regular" suit for a standard size 3 to 3.5" is pretty normal. If above that, and the lapels are pretty wide - we're talking 70s style. And, incidentally, a 1/4 of an inch is significant. Think of how different a 1.25" ("dress") and a 1.5" ("jeans") belt look.Assuming you are talking about Shia. Does anyone have any pics of a 3.75in lapel to successfully rule anything larger out? I have 3.25in lapels from my current suits and they do not look anywhere near large enough for this

Someone like @Despos would be the best guy to answer a question like this with any real authority. Chris, you there?I'm typically a 38R. Closer to a 37R and a 36 is typically pretty slim on me. I'm just asking because I don't know if its the pattern or what but his lapels look wider than I've usually seen...am I imagining things? Is it just the design of the lapel thats making it appear that way? Perhaps it doesn't taper typically? I can't tell what it is but I really like it
