Dear Sirs, Styleforum community,

I would like to ask your contribution. I had so many good ideas from you in posts, PMs, so now I'm asking for it again.

I am considering to make a limited edition shoe for the US market. Designing this special shoe is a wonderfully rewarding, but a very challenging project. I have plenty of ideas - it's going to be without doubt 100% handmade, but there are many option about shoe upper, technology, decoration, finishing, antiquing.. etc. But no need for further explanation since there are many shoe expert here.

I would like to start a kind of customer survey, actually a brainstorming here. So please share your ideas on this, and any kind of wild imagination is welcomed. And in this case let's not criticize others opinions, because really what we are trying to do is to picture a perfect shoe.

I'm planning to make only 10 pairs of it, made to order, maybe bespoke. All of them will be distributed by Mr Rosenbaum.

I'm sorry, I don't understand the purpose. If it is going to be 10 pairs of made-to-order or bespoke shoes, shouldn't the 10 people who you are going to sell them to choose their own design? Or else what is the use of MTO or bespoke?

If you were planning a run of limited edition ready-to-wear shoes, I could understand the wanting for ideas. If that's the case, I vote for austerity brogue in a hand antiqued burgundy, almost black. But then, 10 pairs wouldn't be enough to cover the crowd.

By the way, nice shoes. Especially these:

I'd be interested in something like this, although I don't care if a shoe has seems or not.
