Horizontal creasing on trouser legs at around the level of the bottom of the crotch

Hm, I might have the same problem.

My trousers are perpetually plagued by a very large, swollen crease off to the side.

Most likely fixes:

1-Stand, don't sit (at all).
2-Take pants off like Kramer.
3-Use a steamer or press.
