I think it was @Van Veen and I'm pretty sure it involved grills similar to the one I just posted.

Who was doing that big BBQ event this weekend, how did it go, and what did you make?
It's next weekend. I'll post pics if I remember to take them.

You know what? This thing cleaned up real nice. After my 10 minutes of cleaning I should have no problem making a profit off this temporary grill).

Gave it a trial run and it made a nice meal.

Of course electric is pretty limited in what it can do, but if you just want to make food hot and have the social experience of grilling... Perfectly adequate.

I knew Matt Horn would be in there. The Sunday whole hog cook at Horn BBQ is :bounce2:.

What menu did you decide on?
It's going to be a little ad hoc, but probably something like:

grilled/marinated beef & chicken (either something like fajitas/tacos, kebabs, or for the upstate NYers here, spiedies)

lemon-herb grilled salmon

pulled pork (I was happy with the sous vide que)

grilled or boiled corn

grilled veg (marinated in the same marinades as the meat)

tomato-cucumber salad

I think that's it...
