If it's just the tip it doesn't count so you're okay.

Btw, I haven't bothered cooking a pork tenderloin in years but they are in solid rotation. First, I got a two pack on sale for $10, which will feed us at least two meals, going into three (I plan to toss slices into a salad on Tuesday and have sliders tomorrow.) Second, tender AF. Third, so quick and easy on any pellet type grill. Just set my Signals temp to 145, pull, and let rest for 10 minutes. Lastly, they'll work with so many flavour profiles. Next time I do this I'm already planning lemon, garlic, rosemary, thyme, olive oil marinade overnight.

OK, this is a long shot but any of you mooks in the Bay Area (or driving distance) want a Memphis Elite pellet grill/smoker? Wife is nagging me asking me nicely to get rid of it and she I just spent all day cleaning it up. $5K new but I would make very nice price for any StyFogey to avoid having to deal with randos off Nextdoor etc. It's like 300 lbs so pick up only (and maybe bring a pick up truck?) I know this isn't a FS thread and this will be my one and only interjection of crass commercialism.

Used slices of the pork tenderloin for sliders on Hawaiian bread slider buns. So good.

Think Webber kettle but in KJ aesthetic and features. Looks pretty kick ass for the price.

I wonder if they are losing ground on the low-end with the dozens of quality competitors with sub 1k prices. My costco regularly has a 25-inch red kamado (not sure the brand) for either $499 or $599. It's likely inferior quality, but I bet the cook results are extremely similar.
