You know an electric smoker would be the perfect bday/xmas present to ask for. Too bad I just had my bday and xmas is 5 months away. I can never win.

Curious if you have any recent shots of brisket bark on trager v shack. How did the brisket turn out?

The brisket was really good. The flat was super moist and tender, the burnt ends smoky and unctuous.

No brisket shots from my Traeger as I've never done a brisket on it. Somewhere in these threads are shots I've done of ribs on the Traeger and in my Cook Shack. Cook Shack = more bark but I tend to use the Traeger as I can fit six whole racks easily and it turns out a nice, moist rib without any effort every single time.

Doing some ribs. About to flip them so maybe I'll snap a quick pic. Edit: pic from just now.

I dug up this old shot of ribs from my Cook Shack well before I bought the Traeger. It's on Photobucket so look now as that bandwidth thing will probably kick in. See the bark forming? I'll dig up a pick from my Traeger.

Oh man, they were so good. This is the best method for smoking ribs I have tried yet.

Here's a pic from eight years ago. Again, look at that bark.
