I have to say I always feel really guilty about photos like this. Like, I feel kind of dickish if the person eating it likes it or is like "this is how BBQ should taste." And like if the proprietor is clueless they may think they are putting out a quality product or they just might be proud of their work. But if the owner knows they are swindling people I feel bad for people who were swindled. I don't know...

I passed on $4.99/lbs prime brisket at Costco today. Contemplating going back. Only downside is I would have to smoke it before the weekend and transport it to the vacation spot.

damn... would love to see that here. would love to see just the brisket points as well (for some reason they carry the flats but not the points - give me the fat!!)

I'm also luck as shit. My Costco always has prime brisket for 4.99-5.49 a pound and frequently has wagyu brisket for around 5.49-5.99 a pound.
