What's yall's grilling plan of attack on this most American weekend?

I'm doing this using the kamado as a grill. Hopefully it works.

Some grilled corn and miso butter and a cucumber and grilled potato salad to round thangs out

Drive up to Dallas to eat whatever Bear cooks for his family,

This is all getting smoked this weekend, along with a whole hen because it's Jesus's birthday tomorrow.

No smoking this weekend except for some elote style corn. Tonight it's wagyu steaks, tomorrow I got an itch for sausage gravy and homemade biscuits. Sunday I'm doing rotisserie chicken and making gnocchi for Monday's dinner.

Im still not used to just how quickly the kamado cooks things.

Serious Eats recipe said it should take about 40 to 45 minutes. I check the chicken at 23 minutes and it is a bit over done. Still tasty though.

I haven't tried one yet, but one of the founders is a friend in my from High School. They look great and functional for a traveling grill.
