I am looking for a watch that pays homage to the Daytona, I haven't been able to find one. I could purchase the actual Daytona, but I am not a huge Rolex fan, I have a Submariner but I don't really wear it. Any thoughts? I looked at Omega and I love their stuff, I have a two Omega watches, I just really like the look of the Daytona.

I think that people on SF generally aren't too keen on "homage" watches, as it's better to either get the original watch itself, or get a watch with its own "identity" so to speak, rather than an identity that seeks to imitate another watch.

What is it that you like about the Daytona? The dial? The case shape? Several things?

There's an absolute plethora of three-dial chronographs out there, so hopefully you can find something that you like.

You want a Rolex Daytona, but you don't want a Rolex Daytona? I wish I had your problems.

I like the combination of the case as well as the stem design. I've found several three dial watches I like, but I really like the stem and three dial combination.

It's not a homage, but you could always have a look at Zenith's "El Primero" range, as the Daytona had a Zenith movement for much of the time up until quite recently, and Zenith make excellent watches that are (IMHO, for their quality) quite underpriced when compared to some other brands.

Here are a couple of examples:

I know that the Zenith chronographs don't look the same as a Daytona, but they do make lovely watches.
