Other than the common misunderstanding of Papal infallibility, this was good. Thanks!

Papal infallibility is a very limited thing. It doesn't mean the Pope never makes mistakes. In fact, they confess their sins regularly (JP II went once a week). It just means that on a very rare occasion (only twice ever), a Pope can speak for an ecumenical council of bishops, who speak in turn speak for all the faithful, who are inspired by the Spirit.

In Italy there is also a special clergy cloth, tela vaticana. It's a kind of summer hopsack.
