Like Harry Rosen house brand, I find their quality to be acceptable but priced a bit too high.
I bought a Holt v-neck cashmere sweater before on sales and found it to be similar quality to Banana Republic's offering.

I have a couple of their dress shirts from a few years ago..............the cut and fabric are quite nice for my physique, and I got them on sale ($75). Not bad, but you can do much better with other house brands when on sale.
