Hole in the Sole of Slides, can it be fixed?

I have a couple pairs of slides with leather soles. They all have holes in them, right by my big toe. Can this be fixed by a cobbler? I assume they can replace the sale, but would the average shoe repair place have a sole for these? Thanks. They look like these
