Hoggs Waxed Jacket

Anyone have experience with the Scottish brand of waxed cotton jackets, Hoggs Of Fife? I Am looking for a cheaper, more unique Barbour alternative and like the look of these coats online. They seem to have a long history of quality and durability. I am specifically looking at the Hoggs Padded Waxed Jacket. I wear a 42 coat and am trying to decide between the medium or large Hoggs. Thanks.

Am also considering this coat from Hoggs. Any thoughts? It isn't waxed cotton, but I kinda like the waterproof tweed.

They are an established brand recognised for their quality; my brother has some of their stuff and I don't think you'll go wrong with it. That coat looks great - post pics if you get it

Yeah, am kinda leaning towards the tweed. Much more unique!

Was also checking out this wax cotton coat from Bosmere. Looks pretty cool and great price. Can't find too much about it online though.

I ended up ordering the Olive green padded wax cotton coat in large. $97 with the shipping. Will post results after it arrives.

Got my jacket on Friday. I really love it! Nice fit, seems to be great quality. For the price, I think it would be hard to beat.
