AAS, if I may ask, why are you so drawn to this tartan? I understand its history to a degree, and my father was a Scot, so I certainly get that part, but I'm just curious what makes it so special to you.
I find most tartans extremely loud. Black watch is the most subdued of all the tartans IMO, but it is still bold enough to standout. That's why I like it. It's also readily available. That's why I have so much of it. There are other patterns that I like that are much harder to come by: Royal Artillery, Argyll and Sutherland Highlander, and BB#1 stripe to name a few.
