Back to work (yesterday, actually) after two weeks away in northern Italy - slightly fatter, slightly poorer, much more relaxed. It is cold in NYC today - bitterly so - and I've taken English flannel as the best line of defense.

Suit - New & Lingwood
Shirt - Tyrwhitt
Tie & braces - Brooks Brothers
Cufflinks - Venetian glass, but not from this recent trip
Pocket square - vintage and no name brand
Boots - Magnanni, via Saks Fifth Avenue
Overcoat - Adolfo
Scarf - Harvie & Hudson
Hat - Selentino, via JJ Hat Center, NYC

Aboard a Los Angeles Metro Red Line subway train enroute to the Vermont/Sunset station on the way the the monthly Paper Moon Vintage Full Moon Party.

One of the very few advantages of being 72 is you can sit in the old folks seats and only pay 35¢ to ride (75¢ during rush hours).

Brooks Brothers tweed jacket and blue and white windowpane OCBD shirt, Ben Silver Churchill Dot tie, generic pocket square, Viyella sweater vest, L L Bean cord trousers, Gold Toe argyle socks, and Allen-Edmonds shoes.

For fans of "Piece-Of-A-Person" pictures, a piece of a person with a plastic glass of champagne picture.

Avery nice lady who has a vintage shop across the street from Paper Moon Vintage brought the bottle of champagne. Often find myself wishing more ladies arrived places with bottles of champagne.

This month's Paper Moon Vintage Full Moon party was a 1940s Film Noir themed party.

Here's one of the pictures I took at the party.
