This jacket is my first mtm which I received recently from Kent wang. I’m not quite satisfied as the mid section is too snug, I’m going in this evening to work on pattern. Any advice is welcome. Worn here with Berg and berg shirt and tie, Nordstrom brand trousers and Alden loafers.

You should ask over in the tailors fit/alterations thread as well. I agree with you that the waist is to tight and I am unsure of the quarters. They are opening up and increase the A-line silhouette. Maybe a bit more extended shoulder and wider waist would help.

Thanks so much!! I seriously LOVE this coat! It's a super-thick cotton; and unlined. @gdl203 said that Ikiji had to use machines meant for sewing leather to make it up … it's that sturdy. I actually got quite a few compliments on the streets of NY and DC … which never happens to me. Thanks again!
