Worn from last week...
Are those braces I see peeking out of the last pic? Would have liked to see a shot of what you chose to wear with the outfit(which is great!)

This deserves another run. Understated elegance. All you need, with similar variations. Many can learn from this - but I doubt they will - especially Americans with eye-watering loud patterns and colours and Europeans seduced by the current and comical Neapolitan excesses.

Yo dogs. Suit is not actually khaki (NTTAWWT) but fawn. Kent Wang square called Le Neptune François based on an illustration from the atlas of the same name.

@pliny (is there any way to make tagging work on a cell?) a few questions:
1. How do you like the Francoise? Just got it in the mail myself, and I find it beautiful...first KW silk.
2. Is that suit/SC wool?
3. Deets on the tie?
4. It would really look best with a white shirt ;)

1. I was sent it by mistake (long story). I wanted the Primavera by Arcimboldo, mainly because it's a portrait of Holy Roman Emperor Rudolph II, who purchased the Voynich manuscript, about which a relation of mine wrote a book etc etc
I like the Francoise even tho it doesn't have a lot of blue.

Great square for Autumn imo

2. suit is H Lesser ~11 oz plain weave wool

3. Shantung by Wu

4.

Today's attire reflects two new items picked up while abroad - today's shoes, and the double-breasted waistcoat, wore here only for demonstration purposes, as it will be near 90F/32C here in NYC today - not a day for an extra layer of clothing. Both were picked up on sale - the shoes from Septieme Largeur in Paris, and the waistcoat from Ede & Ravenscroft in London.

Suit - Paul Stuart/Phineas Cole
Shirt - BB
Tie - Charvet
Braces - Lewin
Cufflinks - New & Lingwood
Waistcoat & shoes - as stated above.

For demonstration purposes only:
