I had a former boss (kind of a dummy, but the notion stuck) who said you should only wear a black shirt if you're Johnny Cash.

Black western shirts, not withstanding.

I tend to mostly wear black shoes but went brown the first two days of the week. Figured I’d play a game with myself and see if I could go brown 5/5.

I heard the referred to as leather buttons, braided leather buttons and as football buttons.

Thanks. I actually was a little unsure about the vest, but ended up liking it. Obviously a little matchy with the pink socks and tie, but I like to have fun.

Sadly, I had to take photos in direct sunlight today. The tie is not that bright and the jacket is also a lot darker.

The vest was gray. I wear the pink socks with cream and khaki pants. They get a lot more wear in the Spring and Summer. I like to wear them with white shoes too.
