Got the tie because it reminded me of the Santa hat my friend wears every year at Christmas time.

Here she is wearing her Santa hat and getting a piece of salmon (something she does every day) at Whole Foods.

Hope she doesn't think the tie means I think she is a big as a whale.

"Every time a bell rings an angel gets his wings."

This means most angels got their wings from the bells on railroad crossing signals and the bells on railroad locomotives.

Close up of the shoes. They date from the Allen-Edmonds Made-To-Order era when you could order whatever you wanted, so I did.
