The weather in NYC is warming, and yesterday, was quite variable - warm during the day, but with a thunderstorm or two in the early evening. This complicated matters sartorial, as we, and old friend, and our guest Bernoulli were slated to have dinner, and then meet up with a fellow group of well-dressed rapscallions for drinks afterwards. Some adjustments were made with regard to footwear - the rubber soles of my boots proved useful - though we, by chance, avoided the worst of the wetness, and, eventually, a good (if somewhat inebriated) time was had by all.

Suit - Paul Stuart/Phineas Cole
Shirt - Brooks Brothers
Tie - London York
Cufflinks - Taobao - a gift from our out-of-town guest
Braces - New & Lingwood
Pocket square - no brand name
Boots - Cobbler Union

"Lifestyle" photos of said rapscallions included . . .

Worn for a triple-digit day spent outside, so sorry for the slight wrinkles in this wool, and linen mix..This jacket is the lightest I own as it is completely unstructured.. This jacket had to be completely re-tailored, which was not an easy feat. It's unstructured and unlined and it had to be taken in at the seams by more than three inches each way..The collar also had to be re-worked to fit a little better.. All in all, a great investment as I was thinking about selling it (Purchased 5 years ago)..Thank goodness for great tailors!!

Sure, it's from Conrad Wu. He was an AF here like 8-9 years ago. Got this tie from him when he was starting but now I think he closed the business.
Ah, he made som legendary ties. I have a half dozen of his ties. My all time favourite is probably the one you're wearing below.

Good morning, gentlemen! Please excuse my absence. I hope none of ya’ll missed me too much. I thought I’d go with some light neutrals today in the beautiful summer weather.
