Is that the hopsack DB from S&M? Would you say that lengthwise it's the same as all your Neapolitan jackets?
Correct. It's the Guabello navy hopsack. I have both the SB and DB iterations. The DB is 29,7" measured at the back and the SB is 30,1".

New to me Brooks Brothers olive poplin wash n wear. I’m very excited to have another solid color jacket other than navy or tan in my summer collection. I’ll wear this in spring and fall as well. I have lots of great combos in mind. Also, first outing of this solid cream square. It complements the olive well.

After about two weeks of typically hot, humid June/July weather in NYC, it has cooled off to the point where the donning of a suit jacket is not a torture, and I am tired of living in polo shirts, shorts and sneakers, so here's my attire for the afternoon. I've never worn today's suit as a two-piece before - always with the matching waistcoat - so there is that small experiment for the day as well.

Suit - Joseph Abboud
Shirt - Hilditch & Key
Tie - Brooks Brothers
Cufflinks - Deakin & Francis via New & Lingwood
Pocket square - no name brand
Shoes - Crockett & Jones, model Gower2
Hat - Peter Grimm

Fit of the day. I'm sure a navy based PS would complete the overall fit better. But this was a matter of pushing myself out of the comfort zone as I always resort to navy. I think it worked out OK.

Following @An Acute Style and @EFV is one of the toughest assignments around here.

Is it weird that my favorite summer suit is double-breasted? @psb, it is the same fabric as yours, HM Fresco. It drapes like iron. I enjoyed the combination of light grey and green. I got the summer look I was going for, I think.

Love it. I've been looking for a double breasted summer suit in light grey. This might've finally pushed me over.
