There has been a definite temperature drop here in NYC, making it possible for me to don today's overcoat, which is very warm - too warm until temperatures go below freezing.

I was asked by my photographer to accompany him while he shot for a new client in the Financial District. We were outdoors for 3 hours in a -12 degree Celsius wind chill. Afterwards, he snuck in some shots of me. As evident from these pictures, I couldn't feel my face. Genetically, I'm Norwegian, but grew up in a Spanish desert called Seville. Photographer, however, is Jamaican and this is his first winter in Canada. I told him to beware of February because for January, this is still rather tame.

The mask in my seated photo is a souvenir of Venice, bought at the train station at the last moment, as we were taking the train to Verona, escaping (quite by chance) the "acqua alta" that hit Venice a week after our departure - November 2019.

Yes - a Brooks camel hair polo coat, circa 2005. If I remember correctly, I bought it directly after Xmas in 2004, when Brooks used to have special discounts if one bought something before 1:00 PM on December 26th. The more recent versions are all much shorter in length.
