That it is, indeed - although the maker, Laird, refers to it as a trilby. This particular model of hat comes in about seven different colors, of which I have three - Petrol (a blue/grey), a medium brown, and the green as seen.

My phone camera seems willing to focus on anything except my clothes. That sport coat is a very coarse tweed, with herringbone and barleycorn weaves in it, but the camera makes it look like fuzzy flannel. The one item that comes through clearly is the tie. It's a recent acquisition, in silk and wool, from Graffeo. The shirt is a herringbone flannel from Howard's. The sweater and pocket square are from Boggi Milano. Trousers from Spier and Mackay. Jacket is of unknown make, probably from the early 1960s. Boots by 3DM.

If the colors are accurate in your pictures, I think the gray is too cool for the other items you're wearing (possibly excepting the tie). Not horrible by any means, but sub-optimal.

I definitely thought about that! It is a warmer gray. I promise.

I was going to wear this cardigan instead of the gray one, but thought it was too dark.
