I cannot wait for travel to be safe again - we are both, I suspect, in dire need of a nice luncheon with a little shopping afterwards.

The weather, though warming a bit, is still overcast and a bit breezy, making a three-piece flannel suit, a hat, and a scarf the right amount of insulation. With the formality of today's suit, I opted for my black Homburg, though, to be honest, of the three Homburgs I own, it was the first acquired and is now the least favorite. Live and learn.

Brooks brothers jacket, sweater vest, and tie, L L Bean OCBD shirt, Rugby Ralph Lauren pocket square, Lands' End trousers, and Allen-Edmonds shoes.

For fans of "Piece-Of-A-Person" pictures, a piece of a person with Spotted Dick and custard in a tent picture.

Have no idea why the waitress brought another napkin with dessert. Must have looked like a messy eater to her.

Today is the last day we can eat outside or in tents in Los Angeles County, except in Pasadena, which decided not to prohibit outdoor dining.

Overall, I like the look a lot (of course, I am a big fan of windowpane fabric). My only question...the gorge on the jacket's lapels seems awfully high. I wouldn't suggest lowering it too much (don't want it to look like anything like jacket from the 90s), but I would consider dropping it a bit for your next commission.

Just a Blackwatch pocket square today. I would not normally wear this square with this outfit. I’m trying a different pocket square philosophy here. What do you think?

If you had described it to me, I'd say the square would be too busy to pair with that jacket. Seeing a photo, however, I think it not only works but works well.
