Corduroy, fair isle and flannel. I usually coordinate my pocket square with another dominant color in my outfit. Normally, I would have worn a square with a navy base. Today, I tried a complementary color instead.

You have a very good eye for color.

In the case of the square, I think this elevates the outfit more than a matching square, but I am partial to a complementary vice matching square.

Tonal continues. Next jacket is definitely gonna be a grey herringbone to replace this super-old Uniqlo jacket, maybe something in Moon lambswool. Anyone have other suggestions for softer tweeds?

What kind of silhouette/cut are you after (for your next grey coat)?

Good question – probably something soft-shouldered, slightly extended shoulders, notch not too high up? Basically an Armoury Model 3 lite, as it were. I'm leaning towards Spier's MTO tbh but other suggestions would be very welcome, given the restrictions of a sub-$700 budget

When I first started posting here, this was my best fitting jacket (and those who remember will remember I had some pretty awful fitting ones too).
I think now, in my current wardrobe, that it is one of the worst fitting ones I own.
But still serviceable for now, to see out the last dregs of the winter down under.

Don't be so hard on yourself. Fit looks pretty good to me!
