You will note that there was no value judgment offered or implied in my response to his post. I offered a suggestion of how he could avoid the vintage vibe he’d noted should he wish to do so.

I quite like that color. Would it be called "tobacco"? And is the material linen? The cut looks like Spier and McKay to me, except that the breast pocket is better placed (S&M tend to place the pocket too high to allow one to display a pocket square to advantage). That pocket does look a bit overpacked, though.

This is very nice. Classic colors with well fitting items. A few questions. Who makes the shirt? I like the collar. What fabric are the pants? They look cotton. Unsolicited advice: I think this would look even better if the tie was tied shorter.

They are indeed cotton trousers. Shirt is made by G. Inglese. I don’t disagree about shortening the tie. Funny what you don’t see until someone points it out. Happy to solicit unsolicited advice in this thread.
