First wearing of this tie and this shirt (individually, I mean, not just in combination). The tie is of grenadine weave, and it's my first tie that I can see through! The shirt has a check weave, though the photo doesn't show it.

This is very nice. Classic colors with well fitting items. A few questions. Who makes the shirt? I like the collar. What fabric are the pants? They look cotton. Unsolicited advice: I think this would look even better if the tie was tied shorter.

I quite like that color. Would it be called "tobacco"? And is the material linen? The cut looks like Spier and McKay to me, except that the breast pocket is better placed (S&M tend to place the pocket too high to allow one to display a pocket square to advantage). That pocket does look a bit overpacked, though.

They are indeed cotton trousers. Shirt is made by G. Inglese. I don’t disagree about shortening the tie. Funny what you don’t see until someone points it out. Happy to solicit unsolicited advice in this thread.
