The tie is definitely more fall than summer, but I liked the color combination. The rest of the outfit is more spring/summer (linen shirt, fresco trousers, and the jacket is the E.Thomas wool/silk/linen). Ideally, I'd wear some sort of linen, tussah, or grenadine tie. I don't have that in the arsenal yet though.

I took a risk with a bunch of purple. Linen shirt and pants. Madras jacket. The shirt is blue.

Just too much there.
Jacket with navy strides would work.
Navy jacket would calm down the lavender strides.
All together just too much but I think you knew that.

Maybe its the pic quality but it looks like your pants are lavender, tie purple and orange, PS bluish purple triple, and green with navy jacket.
Thats too many somewhat incongruous colors even for me.
