Decided to wear a suit today for the fun of it. I won’t have a “real” reason to wear a suit till late August. Kinda nice to throw one on.

The weather in NYC is overcast and extremely humid - a perfect occasion to don seersucker for the first time this season. Today's tie, I had nearly forgotten that I owned it, so I gave it its day in the sun (metaphorically, if not literally).

Suit, shirt, tie - Brooks Brothers
Pocket square - no name brand
Shoes - Paul Stuart house brand
Hat - Peter Grimm

Is this preppy? Is having acts of preppiness akin to there being acts of genocide but not genocide?

Is that really the best analogy?

Beard says not preppy. Probably too much pocket square too.

My school tie is.....gasp....polyester!

Shirt detail. It's less carolina blue and a much lighter/pastel blue

99 percent of men (and women!) look better without beards.
Of those who choose to wear a beard anyway, 99 percent of them look better when the beard is trimmed and groomed.
In quarantine time: 103% of stats are useless. (As is most grooming).

Today afternoon i had the chance to listen to a one-to-one concert, which means one musician, one listener. This is an initiative of the local philharmonic orchestra to keep some concert culture alive during corona. "My" musician performed
a violin sonata from Telemann.

The sun was shining, the weather was fantastic and the view was great. This was a chance to wear a summer suit.
Taking pictures during the musical performance was not allowed.
