Used to think that Brioni with their fuller cuts, structured jackets and marked shoulders were old fashioned. Suits for old men. Quite like them now. Is it because fashion is changing, or am I getting old?

Suit: Brioni
Shirt: Bespoke (CYC)
Tie: Borrelli
PS: Poszetka
Shoes: Alden

Not so much that fabric but the cut looks very reminiscent of Brosnan era Bond which was largely a high point in the series for me sartorially. I dunno if your suit is new or from that era and I don’t follow Brioni enough to know if that sort of cut is enduring for them or it it’s dated to the mid nineties? Looks good anyway. Of course I’d button the top one as well but the jackets look like they’re cut to roll right on the top button so it’s hard to tell if doing so would ‘force’ it a bit or if it would just push the lapel roll slightly above the button.

Thanks. The suit is much more recent but I think that the model (chigi) has been around for a while. The button roll is slightly confusing because the roll, as you observed, is on the top button. Looks forced if you button the top one, but looks a little high if you dont. Havent decided yet if I will keep it like this.

Speaking of “finding ones own voice”. After so many years of experimenting with silhouette, this is where I’ve come out.

I absolutely love this silhouette from the golden era. It is rich, sumptuous, luxurious and absurdly elegant.

The volume of the cloth just speaks opulence and there’s an exaggerated grandiose - a sense of occasion - conveyed by these clothes when in motion. This silhouette and cut exude masculinity.

Quite unfortunate that we ever got away from it but I think men are coming to their senses and we’ll soon see this silhouette return.

I have already designed the trousers for this silhouette. My next project is to complete it by designing the accompanying coat.

Looks worthy of emulation. Your pants will look great with jackets of this type. Looking forward to seeing it all together.

Think it will look good on you, especially with jackets, I’m a small guy, in this cut, not so much...

Classics suits will always be a wardrobe staple. Nice flannel suit, very ideal for this time of year. Especially like the touch of playfulness with the pocket square.

Sorry, but your comments on Medellin are quite offensive for a city that had tough times and it's trying to recover from the image you have of it.
