Any chance we could get the details on that pocket square? Maker, and either a link or a photo of it it unfolded?

excellent with that fit.

That would be the kingfisher square from Rampley & Co

I blush with modesty, eyes downcast, at Bernoulli's tribute to me :).

The weather has turned much colder, for the moment, here in NYC - a great opportunity to dig another flannel suit out of hibernation.

Suit - Paul Stuart/Phineas Cole
Shirt - Brooks Brothers
Tie - Joseph A Bank
Braces - Paul Stuart
Cufflinks - Marco Polo airport souvenir shop (aventurine glass tesserae)
Pocket square - Ede & Ravenscroft
Shoes - Brooks Brothers/Alden
Overcoat - Brooks Brothers
Scarf - Fortnum & Mason
Hat - Laird, London

There are some really great fits here the last week or so. Excellent to draw inspiration from. It's snowing a bit in midtown NYC. Here's an indoor/outdoor color comparison. View attachment 1313086 View attachment 1313087
Like the look very much, with one small exception: Don't think there was any need to adorn the jacket with a **** ticket pocket—especially with the piping around it. Personal taste, but I don't want to call attention to design elements of my apparel, which is why I stay clear of things such as piping, or the latest horrendous fad of outlining a lapel hole or button hole with contrasting stitching. The fact that one can do something doesn't mean one should do something.

haven't worn it yet tho, just threw it on to feel cool.
Great looking trench, but the straps on the sleeves are on backwards. The tail of the strap should face toward the back of the jacket, not the front. Enjoy wearing it as you channel your best Humphrey Bogart.

Oooh great eye for detail, thanks man.

I checked and the strap wasn't fully tightened and in the final loop, hence flopping forward.

In the Geeki Tikis Lounge at Sweet!! (the world's second largest candy store) in the Hollywood/Highland Center in Hollywood.

Brooks Brothers Brookstweed jacket, L L Bean OCBD shirt, Ralph Lauren Polo Golf Fair Isle sweater vest, Ben Silver tie, Squarextraordinaire pocket square, Lands' End trousers, and Allen-Edmonds shoes.

For fans of "Piece-Of-A-Person" pictures, a piece of a person with a piece of Cranberry Pistachio Teacake at Tartine (on Sycamore near Willoughby) in Hollywood picture.
