The weather has turned much colder, for the moment, here in NYC - a great opportunity to dig another flannel suit out of hibernation.

There are some really great fits here the last week or so. Excellent to draw inspiration from. It's snowing a bit in midtown NYC. Here's an indoor/outdoor color comparison. View attachment 1313086 View attachment 1313087

Like the look very much, with one small exception: Don't think there was any need to adorn the jacket with a **** ticket pocket—especially with the piping around it. Personal taste, but I don't want to call attention to design elements of my apparel, which is why I stay clear of things such as piping, or the latest horrendous fad of outlining a lapel hole or button hole with contrasting stitching. The fact that one can do something doesn't mean one should do something.

haven't worn it yet tho, just threw it on to feel cool.

Great looking trench, but the straps on the sleeves are on backwards. The tail of the strap should face toward the back of the jacket, not the front. Enjoy wearing it as you channel your best Humphrey Bogart.

I checked and the strap wasn't fully tightened and in the final loop, hence flopping forward.
